Jin Shin:

  • Jin Shin Jyutsu is an energy healing technique that utilizes the same principles of Eastern medicine as acupressure, except that little or no pressure is applied.
  • It is based on the premise that energy flows through our bodies along certain pathways, and when that energy is blocked, we experience disharmony, including pain.

  • Like jumper cables for a car, Jin Shin Jyutsu sparks the flow of energy to help restore proper functioning.
  • The body contains specific energetic pathways that feed the body’s 144,000 functions.
  • When these pathways become blocked, discomfort and pain can develop.
  • If not attended to these blocks become chronic creating various “projects”.
  • The gentle touch of Jin Shin Jyutsu opens up the blocks so that the body’s energy can return to its natural state of harmony resulting in the relief of symptoms and deep relaxation.

The truth is that within each of us lies the power to cast all misery aside and to KNOW complete Peace and Oneness-to BE that beautiful creation of perfect harmony-to truly KNOW (help) MYSELF.

Origins of Jin Shin:

  • Japanese in origin, the phrase “Jin Shin Jyutsu” translates as “the art of the Creator in the person of compassion.”
  • This is a healing art based upon a natural, innate ability to harmonize ourselves using touch.
  • For thousands of years, ancient peoples used this awareness both to heal themselves and others.

  • Over time, however, this awareness diminished until it was all but forgotten.
  • In the early 1900s, Japanese scholar and sage Jiro Murai recovered Jin Shin Jyutsu and trained students in this comprehensive body of knowledge.
